On May 30th 2015, Malaysia Long Life reported an anticancer story of Vietnamese esophagus cancer patient, TRAN THANH TUNG. He took interventional therapy and radiotherapy in Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou and his 5cm tumor had gone and he restored language communicative language.

From August 2010, TRAN THANH TUNG found his voice hoarse so he went to hospital and the result showed his vocal cords paralysis. He took oral antibiotics but the symptoms did not alleviate. Thus, he went to another hospital and he was diagnosed with esophagus cancer. He took TCM for a few months but the condition did not change.

At the end of 2011, TRAN THANH TUNG’ condition turned worse. He can’t speak and had difficulties to swallow and eat so he had to eat fluid diet. He lost 11kg rapidly. A Vietnamese oncologist suggested him to take cancer therapy in China or else he can not live for a long time.

On August 22nd, 2012, with the company of his wife TRAN THANH TUNG arrived at Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou. After taking inspections, he was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in upper-middle esophagus with mediastinal lymph node metastasis. When he first hospitalized at Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou from September 1st 2012 to October 15th 2012, he took three sessions of interventional therapy and a few sessions of radiotherapy in total.

After a month, on November 25th 2012, TRAN THANH TUNG came back for return check. Dr. Tang told him that the 5cm cancer had disappeared. His wife happily talked about husband’s condition, “After enlarging the esophagus, he can eat some porridge, thick porridge, noodle and then rice. He choked when drinking water and only ate fluid diet. Now he sleeps well and regains his weight. He used to communicate with people by writing but now he can talk with people.”

He kept on taking two sessions of interventional therapy to reduce the recurrence rate of cancer. Now his condition was stable and TRAN THANH TUNG led a normal life.
